The Grammy Hall of Fame will celebrate its newest inductees on Friday, May 8, including a landmark album from a band that got its start in the Pacific Northwest. The event will honor 14 new recordings, including Heart’s debut album, Dreamboat Annie, which will be inducted in May as part of the class of 2026 as it marks its 50th anniversary. The album features hits such as “Crazy on You” and “Magic Man.” Roger Fisher, Heart’s founding lead guitarist, now lives in Gold Bar with views of the mountains and the river. Heart was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013. Fisher left Heart in 1979 and said he has continued writing and recording since then. “I left Heart in 1979, and over the years, I've written and recorded. I've written and recorded. I've written and recorded and tried to put things out, and nothing has ever caught on,” Fisher said. -------------------------------------------------- For more on the story: https://komonews.com/news/local/grammy-hall-of-fame-to-honor-14-new-inductees-including-heart-on-may-8-guitarist-roger-fisher-debut-album-dreamboat-annie-anniversary Stay up to date with our social media: KOMO News on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/KOMONews/ KOMO News on Twitter: https://twitter.com/komonews KOMO News on Instagram: http://instagram.com/komo4 KOMO News on TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@komo4seattle Subscribe to KOMO on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC__2_0RJ8XnHt2angfw6S1Q/?sub_confirmation=1 Watch more top local news stories: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G97AyNO_3IE&list=PLZm7uq7_dyY6qhFFIwgXRvYpkaOnZEabc&index=2&t=0s For all of the day’s top local and national news, visit http://www.komonews.com/ Watch our live newscasts and other live video at https://komonews.com/watch Download our iOS App: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/komo-news-mobile/id433508161?mt=8 Download our Android App: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.newssynergy.komo&hl=en Have a news tip?
